「Lovely rooms and bathrooms. Very clean Host very welcoming. Great kitchen for self catering Mattress a bit unconfortable, probably needs replacing. Lots of steps up to the accomodation, hard after a day walking the camino 」

「Octant is a beautiful hotel, and the staff are next level - while we were out for a hike, the staff held on to our daughter’s doll. When we returned they had taken pictures of the doll doing all sorts of fun activities - from a massage at the spa to helping at front desk. Truly above and beyond!」

「Very friendly and helpful staff, great bar and restaurant, excellent spa, indoor and outside pool options, great access to beach and boardwalk leading to Gaia and Espinho (two smaller cities south of Porto). Rooms also have great view. Very upscale. The only downside is that it’s about a 25 minute car ride to Porto, but the neighboring cities also offer a cool beach town experience (but definitely go to Porto). We would definitely return!」

「New hotel, well located and easy access to main attractions, good bedding sheet, and lobby area is good for gathering. The main concern was the lighting in the rooms was too dark. And a sofa was missing vs. what's shown on the picture. 」

「What a lovely place to stay. The terrace, overlooking the river, was the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Breakfast itself provided and excellent selection too. The staff were very attentive, helping us get connected to their Internet and quickly replacing a malfunctioning kettle in the room. They were also very efficient when it came to getting a taxi or making reservations at restaurants. We would certainly stay here again if we came back to Porto. MS」
