Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Not recommended for Western travelers

The hotel is just outside of Sanya City in a new tourist development area and has no shops etc. near it- There are dozens of large buildings all around, most of them standing empty- There's a lot of construction going on all around the hotel grounds, even late at night- The hotel itself appears shabby and ill-kept, as an example, the floors are finished concrete, but the concrete is beginning to spall and crack (this is in the interior hallways)- Water from the taps is not potable, so you have to use bottled water- There's a restaurant in the hotel which offers an odd selection of Western and Chinese food- Overall, a shabby and logistically difficult establishment, cannot recommend it, particularly for Western travelers-
