Great property for a boutique hotel. The property is right in front of a busy photographic area so getting in and out was an issue at times but it didn’t bother us much.

What not get the Room, what we are supposed to get. The Check in was a little bit was a little bit difficult and the assistent there was not able to solve our problem. The room itself was not very clean. Also, the pool not. There has been a few things which were broken. I really can’t recommend this hotel.

It was a great place to stay! The views were amazing and the room was nice. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is the best place to stay in Oia. It is right in the middle of everything and a very easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The room is clean and has everything you need and the BEST view.

Amazing property with amazing views! Ideal location! Communication is spotty, this stay is for travelers who are comfortable in self sustaining. Worth the sacrifice of service for entire cave suite and views!

The property was nice and the location was close to everything we wanted to do in Oia Santorini. However, a little disappointed that we booked the Gateway caldera view with private lunge pool but the pool was out of order so we did not have the Santorini experience that we looked forward to and booked for. Management agreed to offer us a discount/credit for the inconvenience, have to wait and see if Expedia and property will honor.

The hotel - did not have water for more than 24 hours. More than 75% of the stay. Management did not do anything about it and blamed it on the Government. All nebouring houses and rental facilities had water only Sophia Oia View, which has 4 rental homes - did not now have water. Maintenance staff said the Motor was not strong enough and the neighbours were have more powerful motor, that’s why they were getting water. Management stopped communicating. One of the worst and horrible experience. When you are traveling from USA with kids and don’t have water for majority of your stay. It becomes difficult to stay without basic necessities and sanitation. I will never stay at this place again. I request Expedia to refund our stay.

We love everything about this property! We were picked up by the staff from where our taxi dropped us off, ushered us to the room. They are so polite and helpful. We were personally oriented on the property with what kind of amenities we have, etc. Valantis, the manager, also has good eating places recommendations and discounts. The view of the blue dome churches is just awesome, walking distance to Agios Nikolaos, Amoudi bay, and the city center. We were surprised with alot of freebies too! Highly recommended and hopefully we could come back! Thank you Sophia Oia!

Where do we start. I would recommend full heartedly anyone who is traveling to Santorini to stay at this property. Aside from the spectacular view, the service was exceptional. Especially our guide Mr. Chrisovalandis. Our flight got delayed, however Chris offered us an extended stay due to this which was extremely kind and helpful to us. We were given the options to book transportation, activities, etc through them as well. The cleanliness of the stay, the pool, the room, etc made the perfect picturesque stay in Greece. We barely even wanted to leave the room! We also ordered breakfast straight to the room from this company, which was wonderful and absolutely exceptional. As frequent travelers, please book your stay with Sophia Oia! You definitely won’t regret it.

This hotel was the worst in my life. The view was nice at least. But the room door is so fragile and shaking all night, we couldn’t sleep at all. We don’t recommend if you find a real hotel that you can sleep.

Unique Cave Like Stay / Blue Dome Churches!

there's a reason why this is called "Oia View". you're really like right in from of two blue dome churches. ilso its very convenient; its like a few steps off the Main Street of Oia. a bit tricky to get the luggage from point A to point B, but the hotel staff does get to this. but really - all these cliff hotels are that way. we recommend this place, really unique.

Can't get better than this in terms of location and view . Beautiful room fully furbished with nespresso machine, bathrobe, and everything you need - including a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. We got the room with the plunge pool and im so glad we did - we used it often and couldnt get enough of the views. We travelled in March which was nice to soak in the hot tub while the air was a bit cool. Thanos, the property manager, was incredibly courteous, attentive and gave is fabulous advice on things to do and where to eat during off season.

Stay Away from Sophia Properties

Worst stay we have ever had. The manager is so shady and promises you a bunch of stuff and strings you along until you leave and then lies about everything he says. Get it is writing. Pool was dirty and they told us to just swim in it, ants in the room, no water pressure. The manager kept saying her would be right there and it would take an hour everything. Stressful stay and they did nothing to compensate or alleviate our troubles and worries. We will never stay at a Sophia property ever again. The few was magnificent but not worth the extra money and stress this property will give you. Stay away from Sophia properties!!

We had issue with the room which is no cold water in the sink and it was burning hot water coming in the sink me and my child got burnt several time also some dirty stinking water looks like pee water overflow in the front door area ruined our feet we call the host she came in 10 min and cleaned it for us also made us wait for plumber which took my 2 hours there. Also she is keep on telling us how to use the room like we don’t know how to. She is little too pushy which is I didn’t like it also didn’t give us right information about sunset which is we missed it was not a good experience

Terrible communication. Called three people to find out where to go. Finally when we got in touch, they said helped bring our bags to the room, and informed us there was an issue with the pool of our room (whole reason we stayed there because it was our honeymoon). The manager finally came after saying he would b there in 5 minutes, 25 minutes later he finally came and said he told us what to do which was not true. There was no communication about arrival. There was an issue with the pool and they didn’t have another room with one and would have to offer to transfer us to another sister property which was an upgrade but it was 30 minutes away and not in the area we planned for. Felt like the manager was disingenuous about the whole thing. We had been traveling for over a month and know what to expect and be treated and felt like there was no accountability. We are grateful for the attempt to upgrade us but it was not what we planned for and we did not appreciate the lack of communication and honestly straight up lies.
