Die Gastfreundschaft des Personals war top. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Shuttleservice vom und zum Flughafen war super. Die Lage des Hotels war perfekt. In nur 2 Minuten konnte man den Strand zu Fuß erreichen. Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Bäckereien, Geschäfte und Restaurants befanden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Mangelhaft war leider das Bad: kaputte Duschbrause, kaputter Abfluss, klemmende Tür Weiteres war die Matratze des Bettes sehr hart, sodass man nicht bequem schlafen konnte. Alles in allem für zwei Sterne sehr empfehlenswert.

Ottima struttura con posizione vicinissima al mare, personale gentile e disponibile (ogni giorno ci hanno cambiato lenzuola e asciugamani). La sig.ra Caterina è stata molto gentile ad accoglierci appena arrivati e ci ha invitati a valutare l'escursione alla caldera in mare davvero molto conveniente. Sicuramente torneremo la prossima volta e lo consiglio! :)

Never ever that hotel and don’t recommend it.

This hotel is really overrated and overpriced. We arrived late in the evening the hotel provided shuttle transport from the airport at 35 € for two persons. Next day we meet the staff especially one of them she was a very nice and polite woman “Le Cathrine”. There were a lot of things that were not as mentioned under hotel facilities as. 1-We were at that hotel for 5 nights we got only one bottle of water, when we asked for water in the next day the owner refused that and she said they provide water only one time during a stay, not every day. 2-The breakfast is not a buffet, the staff decide what you eat at breakfast, the quality of the breakfast is a lot below the average. The coffee, milk and juice were about half coup per person no more. The breakfast was in the kitchen but it was not allowed for us to take it by ourselves, they came every morning with a predefined variety and quantity of breakfast. The kitchen was very small, the food was covered by a piece of bed sheet and some times the staff sitting in that little kitchen between 2 to 3 staff members and smoking there. 3-The room was clean, they cleaned every day. They change towels every second day and bed sheets every third day. The room is very small, the floor and faucets are very old and mouldy, needs an upgrade. The Location is good, very close to the beach and main road. 4-The bathroom is another story could be definitely improved and accommodations are very basic, the shower is super small, the sho.

Great Welcome and Location

A family run establishment where a very nice welcome awaits you as you are treated with water, a traditional liquor and a piece of chocolate. Check in is quick and easy. Great location, a few minutes walk and you are on the beach. Everything you need is also on the beach, like great places to eat. If you are interested in more than a relaxing beach holiday than you can take a bus ride to see whichever tourist site you'd like the bus as well is also only a minute walk from the hotel. Everything is within easy reach of the hotel.

Ho soggiornato qui di recente, la posizione è ottima, a pochi passi dal mare, inizialmente mi aspettavo un po' meglio la stanza però ci siamo trovati bene, ci sono stati cambiati spesso gli asciugamani e rifatto il letto tutti i giorni, quindi il servizio è buono, il bagno è molto piccolo e la cornetta della doccia è appoggiata ai rubinetti, quindi risulta un po' scomodo lavarsi, rimasta molto soddisfatta dalla cordialità e disponibilità delle ragazze che lavorano qui, simpatiche e gentili, in conclusione consiglio la struttura a chi come noi rimane poco in albergo durante una vacanza!!

A bit overpriced for what you get. Breakfast is good, rooms are small but clean, but shower is super tiny, everything leaks on the floor and faucets are very old and moldy, needs upgrade. Also there was extremely strong smell of sewage in the room, we figured it was also old and needed repairs/upgrade. Location is good, very close to the beach and main road.

io e la mia amica Cinzia abbiamo trascorso l'ultima settimana di agosto al Blu Island .La stanza che ci hanno dato è un po' piccola con un bagno piuttosto scomodo, ma pulitissima e con un cambio completo della biancheria tutti i giorni, ottimo. La vicinanza alla spiaggia, la colazione a buffet e la cortesia delle ragazze (che hanno provveduto al transfer all'aeroporto molto economico rispetto ai prezzi su piazza) hanno fatto il resto. Nice hotel very close to the beach

Eleni and her family did an amazing job! They were very accommodating and welcomed us right into their hotel. They also provided a shuttle service, which was very convenient. The room had great air conditioning and a great outdoor patio.

Fantastic location , clean , wifi and good value

On arrival we were greeted with drinks this was a much needed and thoughtful gesture . We are a party of 4 children 2 mums . The beds were clean and fresh everyday as were fresh towels . Wifi works and the location was fantastic . 2 mins walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world . Breakfast was healthy local food , but some of the bolides eggs were over incubated presumably because of the heat - avoid eggs -simple . If your looking for no fuss , clean basic accommodation - book here .

Excellent place to stay if you don't need frills.

It's an excellent place to stay if you don't need frills, and we didn't! The ability to communicate with someone at the hotel through hotels.com is a big asset that I utilized to get ready for this stay. Eleni was very responsive and personally was there to pick us up from the ferry port (10 euro/person/trip- well worth it, I thought) and she informed us of a volcano/hotsprings/Oia tour that we took advantage of. I was traveling with my daughter and had requested two twin beds, so we needed to do an adjustment when we arrived and were shown a room with a double bed, but that was quick and painless. Just to avoid a problem if the hotel were full, I would recommend reiterating that special need just one or two days before arriving. It was a very hot two days, and the a.c. Didn't reach my sleeping area very well, so that is why I didn't give a perfect mark on the comfort. I would estimate less than 100 yards to the black sand beach, and 1/4-1/2 mile to the start of the ancient Thira trail (350 m up! Bring lots of water!) Location was great.

Great location

We had a problem with the AC, but they fixed it right away. The location is fantastic, very close to the beach and the restaurant area. Will definitely stay there again.
