"Staff was nice but not overly friendly. Perks for this place was it was conveniently located right by the freeway which was nice and breakfast was provided. Rooms are small and tight but beds were comfy. Our room was loud (it overlooked the pool) because people were in the pool past hours and in before it opened."

"Although the property appeared well kept from the outside, the stay was extremely disappointing and nowhere worth the $379 per night price tag. The accommodations felt more like a budget motel than a hotel. The room and shower both had visible mold, which raised concerns about cleanliness and air quality. One side of the bedside lamp was missing a switch, and the entire room had a damp, musty smell as if it had not been properly aired out. The bedding was thin and seen better days. Within less than an hour of checking in, our allergies started reacting to the room conditions leading us to check out early. For nearly $400 a night, the condition and comfort of the room were disappointing and did not match the price being charged."

"My wife and I traveled to Santa Cruz as part of an extended vacation. We found check-in to be easy and the staff member took the time to show us an easy route to get our luggage from our car to our room. The room was quite small, but clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice balcony with a limited view of the beach and wharf. Parking was on property with the back lot larger and easier to navigate. A little surprise was the upper level deck with nice views of the beach and wharf. The hotel is right on the beach and close to numerous restaurants and the wharf. The Boardwalk Amusement Park is just down the beach."

"Took quite a while to check in (no line). Said they had "mini-golf" which was a putting green. Never mentioned the spa and pool. No parking spots available. Very noisy. In the morning, they was a man sitting on the stairs in front of a ton of garbage, and think I saw vomit in the corridor. No nearby place to plug in coffee maker. Pillows not comfortable."
