I informed the front desk about a toilet leak in my room that soiled the floor and caused a foul smell. I was assured the issue would be addressed. However, when I returned that evening, the room reeked of bleach, which had been used to mask the odor rather than fix the problem. The overwhelming smell of bleach made it difficult to breathe. When I requested to move rooms, I was told none were available and was advised to place towels on the floor and keep the bathroom door closed. I was promised a room change the following day. The next day with the bleach smell faded, the stench from the leak returned as no repairs had been made. Despite the previous assurance, no room was available for me that day either. What they meant that no room like the one I was in was available they could have moved me to another room double, king deluxe, or newly remodeled one, but did not; unacceptable. When I moved to another hotel Wild Palms I experienced an issue and maintenance was sent up immediately in the evening to address. PS: I accepted the rooms at Granada being dated and making me feel I had to shower and walk around with slippers on. In one room the the shower door stuck and I thought I would break it to get out. They also allow gas blowers every Sunday morning -- noisy, but the deal breaker was the toilet and their failure to handle. Thought I had found a budget acceptable accommodation-- NOT. Save yourself the frustration and don't stay there!

ROACHES! Okay, upon entering the room it looked decently clean. I immediately noticed that there was no couch or kitchenette like the photos described ans the price reflected when I booked the room. Absolutely not worth what I paid for the weekend. It was just little things here and there like the fridge and microwave was not olugged in. A cold fridge upon arrival would have been great. The plugs next to the bed didnt work so we couldnt charge our phones bedside. The light really shows through around the door - the door that does not have any extra locks or security. The window screen was bent in like someone tried to break in at some point. The TV remote power button didnt work. But then, the morning of check out, there were ROACHES. And yes, I have a photo.

It is quite a busy area with even google map trip of 6 minutes seemingly takes longer, however, pretty much any and everything you would need is within 15 mins drive; however; street driving and lots of traffic lights. Really upset they allow blowers cleaning up on Sunday's. This should not be allowed as Sunday is expected to be quiet day. The blower usage cost the accommodation a 5-star review and almost gave them a 3-star because of this noise. I strongly suggest they change this policy and not have non-emergency noisy work performed on Sunday's nor Federal, State, County or City Holidays.
