"Older property, obvious attempts to keep up to date and smells really clean in the room. Needs a bit of cleaning around the edges, some repair of the grab bars in the bathroom needed. "

"This has got to be one of my all time favorite stays! The hotel was incredibly clean, the shower heads were wonderful with good pressure, and there was a trash can at every area you’d need to throw something away. There was a machine in the lobby that would make coffee, cappuccino, or hot chocolate whenever you wanted and the breakfast was hot and delicious (not to mention complimentary!) I kept trying to find something I’d change about my stay and I couldn’t find anything. One thing I would note is that if you are wanting to spend a lot of time in the pool or hot tub, it is rather small. That wasn’t a big deal to us since we hadn’t planned on using those amenities. Every staff member we encountered was very professional and pleasant. It very much felt like a private secluded inn rather than a busy mainstay hotel. My husband and I are making Santa Barbara a yearly trip and we will only book with Avania Inn from now on."

"We loved everything about this Motel 6. The room was clean and decorated nicely and the shower was the best ever at a motel. The front desk staff were friendly and it was a beautifully groomed property. We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked very well cleaned. And the location was perfect!"
