I noticed a previous review mention the limited parking, and I can now confirm it’s definitely an issue. The hotel has a very small number of spots, and if there are multiple guests or parties sharing a room, the parking can fill up quickly.
My room also had an overpowering bleach smell upon arrival, which made me feel dizzy—I actually had to grab Tylenol from the market next door. It was a bit much. I had to open the sliding door (with no screen) to waft out most of the smell.
One thing that caught me off guard was the payment process. The hotel charged my card a few days before my stay, and the charge sat as a pending balance. In my experience traveling for work, most hotels don’t process the payment until you check in, so that was unexpected.
On a more positive note, there was a front desk associate who was nice and helpful. I was convenient a cross walk away from the beach and short walk from the pier. Close to a few restaurants and the neighborhood was friendly.
