"This place was beautiful and a nice place! The pictures are accurate. But I do have to mention the negatives. 1) I didn’t realize it’s in a farther area of the lake where there’s nothing around it. I would never have walked outside, didn’t look safe as a tourist. So your limited to transportation to get in and out and takes around 20min on a dirt road to exit that area. Theres a more populated touristy area across the lake on the other side. 2) One of the most pathetic things from this hotel, especially with what I mentioned before, they don’t allow us to take in ANY outside food??!?! They wanted to take away my kids cereal and granola bar snacks and told me to dump them or they can hold it. Are you kidding me??? lol Out of all my travels, have never heard of that absurdity. We snuck the snacks in every night and had to hide it to come in! Hahahaha The jokes on them. Such a petty rule that will make them lose customers like myself. 3) Lastly, This is a chill “exclusive” hotel. There was a horrible trashy guy with a Herod of three woman there when we arrived, he was drunk, loud and obnoxious. Why was it their fault? They kept serving him alcohol way past when they should have. It almost ruined our stay. Luckily they kicked him out, but it should never have gotten to that point. Also; they have “day passes” and day passes usually attract that type of element. That is not “exclusive”. 4)Also, very overpriced water activities. Nice hotel, but I would not stay there again."
