Excellent Hidden Gem

Excellent location, literally over the road for a stunning beach and short walk to some nice restaurants. This was a great choice for us as it was so close to the Calais ferry port and we really enjoyed our stay.

Good location over round from beach. Has own car park. 2 bed apartment has large living area. One bed in entrance room and have to navigate sloping ceiling. Property is a bit tired but furniture comfortable. 11 mins from channel tunnel and the cote d’opale is very scenic. Had excellent meal at restaurant cap blanc nez which is just a few doors away.

A nice address for a short stay. Just a minute from the seaside, free swimming pool and parking. Accommodation is somewhat old fashioned, but there are blinds to sleep in darkness

Comfortable B&B with spa.

Very nice B&B in the small Village of Sangatte close to the Eurotunnel. Very friendly snd helpful owner who speaks really good English. Good breakfast. Good showers and comfortable beds. Cleaning is not included. There is a lovely pool, a hot tub and a spa but no restaurant but there is a very good restaurant only 6 houses away. Good shopping in the neighborhood. Really recommend this place.

A very quaint find. Our chain hotel overbooked and cancelled our reservation but Expedia agent found us this family run hotel. It was way out of the area of Calais that we were expecting to stay at and we needed to take a bus to get there into another town. Unfortunately the bus driver was of no assistance in where to let us off at so that was stressful, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Such nice Owners, who waited for us to arrive, greeted us in English and put us last minute into a lovely little apartment with a sitting area and fully stocked kitchen, that we didn't need at the time. This would be so handy if we were staying longer in the area. He even escorted us to the suite, a nice touch and gave us lots of information about the area. Bed was very comfy. Right close to the beach, so we were able to walk on the very large beach. Breakfast the next morning was lovely with your typical foods, but they were very fresh and lots of yummy selection of cheeses locally made and fresh breads. We would definitely stay there again if we were in that area.

Great place to stay on a car trip in a lovely part of the country. Great hidden off street parking for cars. The owner was very helpful and gave great tips. Even helped us out of a spot of bother with one of the cars.

Quite a tired room

It was ok, very friendly staff but our apartment room was quite tired. One of the electric sockets was hanging in the wall, the underside of the sofa bed was full Of crumbs and dirt. Generally the room could do with a really good overhaul

Het appartement voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. De wellness is uiteraard de grote extra troef van dit hotel. En de locatie vlak bij het wandelstrand uiteraard. De vriendelijke eigenaar runt dit hotel op een correcte wijze.

L'accueil est sympathique, on vous conseille sur les activités à proximité 👍. Cependant nous trouvons qu'il manque des informations sur le site hôtel.com, comme : la taxe pour les animaux domestiques😤. l'appartement est cool, mais il manque d'un gros coup de frais: plusieurs coups sur les mur, tâches divers... Nous avons déchanté lorsque l'on a lui la note sur le ménage, on vous demande de passer le balais, enlevé tout le linge de l'appartement et le mettre dans l'entrée, de faire la vaisselle, de lavé la douche et évier. Au vu du tarif de la chambre ( appartement 2 adultes, taxe, petit déjeuner et 1 chien), je ne m'attendais pas devoir en plus faire le ménage, sinon on doit payer 39 € pour un forfait ménage.😤
