"We arrived shortly after midnight during a storm after a long drive and were given keys to a room that was already occupied by a sleeping guest. Being issued keys to an occupied room is a serious security breach and understandably alarming.
We were reassigned to another room where the bedding had visible stains and hair. The following morning I requested a call from a manager regarding both the security issue and the room condition but never received one. When we later spoke with the manager in person, we were told housekeeping would address the bedding immediately. We left the room for two hours and returned to find nothing had been done.
We requested another room, which unfortunately smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and required yet another relocation.
In less than 24 hours we experienced multiple room assignments due to a security lapse, unsanitary bedding, lack of follow-through on promised service, and smoke odor in the final room. I am sharing this feedback because these issues point to larger operational and safety concerns that should be reviewed."

I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding my recent stay at the Hilton Vacation Club Tahoe Seasons Lake Tahoe.
During my four-night stay, my room was never cleaned or serviced once. Throughout the duration of my visit, I repeatedly contacted the front desk requesting housekeeping, as towels, trash, and general upkeep were becoming an issue. Each time I was told that full housekeeping was only provided for guests staying a full week, and that the best they could offer was a “tidy up.”
However, despite these assurances, no tidy-up service was ever provided either.
This left me in the unacceptable position of having to take out my own trash, repeatedly call for clean towels, and manage the basic upkeep of the room myself. By the end of the stay, trash and used towels had accumulated due to the lack of housekeeping support.
What made the situation even more frustrating was observing other rooms on the same floor receiving daily housekeeping service, which made the lack of service for my room even more confusing and concerning.
This experience fell far below the standards I associate with the Hilton brand. Cleanliness and basic room servicing during a multi-night hotel stay should not require repeated calls to the front desk, nor should guests be left to handle these responsibilities themselves.
