Clean, quiet, modern and close to so many things

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. We were escaping a bad rental experience in a neighboring city, and the modernity, comfortable beds, and cleanliness of this place were a welcome change. The kitchen is small but cozy and workable. Caretaker David was wonderful and highly responsive before checkin, at our arrival, and daily with his check-ins on WhatsApp. We greatly appreciated his service and availability. The unit is just off Salida a Celeya and 2 blocks from CityMarket and La Comer. But when you are in it you can't hear any traffic noise. There are dozens of restaurants and cafes within blocks, a very close ATM, and several tire shops (important for us because our spare tire was stolen in the last city so we needed a new one). The walk to Centro is a bit longer than we had hoped, but doable - about 20-25 minutes to La Parroquia.

NOT CLEAN

The place was in a truly disgusting state. My wife cleaned the floor with a broom when we got there which took an hour. There was hair and dirt. The shower mats were filled with hair too. There were ants as well in the kitchen area. The old man who greeted us was nice and friendly, but this place was in no condition for guests. We do not live anything like this at home, we live cleanly and expect the same from our stays. I have include a picture of the cleanup. That was only the stairs. There were 3 other dustpans with that kind of mess as well.

Don David es un gran host. Muy amable y siempre dispuesto a solucionar nuestras dudas. La villa es muy espaciosa y te sientes como en casa. El area es muy tranquila. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar.
