「Booked this room through Expedia, around a month before the trip as it was “reserve now pay later” on the day of check in while I’m making my 4 hour drive I get a notification my room has been cancelled. I called and they LIED saying my card had declined, but they had never tried to charge it, then proceeded to tell me they couldn’t reverse the cancellation all I could do was rebook and a much higher rate than what I originally reserved.」
