My stay at The Weekender by Otium was great. The overall hotel is clean and the staff is professional and very friendly. My room, Garita 2, was clean and spacious and equipped with the essentials. I love all of the greenery from the plants and the music playing around the hotel. The only thing I would change is the showerhead, it had water all over the bathroom floor, and the hot water wasn’t as hot as I like. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Great experience. The bar was being remodeled, but they still set up a make shift bar. Jess was amazing!! She even made sure I had a birthday treat. Great location. You can walk to the beach, and even La Placita. Great restaurants are also close. Room was nice too. Will definitely stay here again!!

"We had a wonderful experience at The Weekender. From start to finish, the check-in and check-out process was seamless. The staff members were incredibly pleasant and went out of their way to provide helpful information about the area. ​The hotel was clean, which we really appreciated. The best part? The location! There is so much to eat and do within walking distance. We spent most of our time exploring on foot and felt completely safe the entire time. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!"

We were fortunate to land a room here after being stranded when air space was closed over PR and the Carib. Jess at reception was so cheerful and helpful. The location is excellent too: a bakery on the next block, the beach just a short walk, and lots of dining options. The common space was very cool and we lived getting serenaded by the fronts every night!

The staff was okay, they charged me for a late checkout and still locked me out before the checkout time, the pictures online are a little deceptive but it is a very intimate stay.

Ich war sehr zufrieden in der Unterkunft. Alles sehr sauber, gepflegt, nettes Personal, abgeschlossene Anlage, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Zum Strand ist es auch unweit.

The room was in good condition but I was told if I left a card outside my room, it would be cleaned during the day. My room wasn’t cleaned during my entire stay and I was never given new towels. My guest and I were out of the room for most of the days on multiple days and still nothing. I also booked for a room with a balcony. The balcony had a terrible view and almost no space. There’s no way that room should cost extra.

The gates to the property were locked when we arrived. There was no bell and we didn't get any instructions for check in. It wasn't late, just 7:30 pm. We had to bang on the metal gates to get a staff attention. After that, the check in was very quick since I did it online. I just presented my ID and got a room key. The property is nice, clean, lots of vegetation. But there is a lot of noise from the birds. Take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The bed is soft which Iliked and my husband didn't. The bathroom amenities are good. Water pressure is adequate. The here is no ice machine, at least I was not able to find it and try he reception was empty when I went there several times to ask for the ice. The beach is 6 min away by foot. The hotel provided beach towels and chairs -big plus. No restaurant or bar on premises, but they are building it. The construction did not bother us. All in all, a pleasant stay.

Clean room, friendly stuff, great location BUT there is no privacy at all and you look at the tualet right from the pillow. There’s no door. In order to use it I had to ask my husband to leave the room. I asked to switch the room but was told they were sold out.

El lugar, el cuarto y las facilidades estaban hermosos. El problema fue el check-in. Me enviaron un mensaje indicándome las instrucciones y donde decía que tenían estacionamiento por un costo de $30, con un link. Accedí al mismo, realicé el pago, pero no recibí instrucciones. Cuando llegué al lugar no veo estacionamiento por ningún lado. Escribo al numero donde recibí la información y donde decía que me podía comunicar para preguntas. Pero recibí un mensaje automático. Luego de varias vueltas, conseguí estacionarme frente al lugar. Y al hacer check-in la muchacha me explica que es un estacionamiento a unas calles del lugar. Creo que esa información debe darse antes de llegar al lugar y sobretodo con pin para poder llegar al estacionamiento. Que a fin de cuentas no utilicé porque conseguí estacionamiento en la calle.

We were only there for a short stay but the check in was easy and the woman was super friendly. We had gotten off of our ship early in the morning and the hotel let us keep our luggage there while we explored the city before our check in time. That was amazing! We were also actually able to check in a few hours early which was great!
