Medellín was once titled the most innovative #urbanjungle in the world because of the ways it looked to improve quality of life for its inhabitants. This is one of them. For many, getting home meant walking up hundreds of flights of stairs. Medellin thus installed public escalators for people in this Comuna to be able to get home easier

Boasting public escalators and some outstanding street art this revitalized neighborhood is a must. I highly recommend taking one of the graffiti tours for an insider's perspective.

Such an impressive mall. With the heat that we struggled to adapt to in Medellin, we often found ourselves seeking out the comfort of air conditioned malls.
