「Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer und obwohl das nächste Hotelzimmer nicht weit weg war, hatte man das gefühl alleine zu sein. Beim Blick aus dem Fenster dachte man, man ist mitten im Dschungel. Das Essen war sehr lecker und man kann direkt vom Hotel aus einiges erleben. Wir haben einen nightwalk mitgemacht und der war sehr spannend. 」

「Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing 」

「AMAZINGLY customer service oriented. Bereníce, staff, SO attentive, kind & thorough. Prior to arrival, resort administrator engaged to make personalized arrangements. Wifi steady & stable. Jacuzzi a plus. For arrival, standard vehicle OK (albeit slow w potholes with some portions being unpaved roads), but 4x4 might be helpful. Highly recommend to get away from it all to chill. I travel a lot, and I would go back. 」

The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The outdoor areas are stunning, filled with vibrant plants and flowers, and the natural spring pool and mountain views make it all even more breathtaking. 「Host Tracy was fantastic and speaks flawless English. She helped arrange a last-minute tour for us and clearly wants to be helpful. The “treehouse” was beautiful. Not much common sitting within the unit, but between the hammock and outdoor seating we were very comfortable. It was wonderful waking up in the treetops! A yummy breakfast is available for $10. 」
