Super cute inn. This place was fantastic. We loved the breakfast - fresh fruit and made to order breakfast. The common area was lovely and allowed our family to play games and hang out in the evenings. We even used the kitchen one night to cook dinner and this was a great option. The staff were super helpful and friendly.

Very cute hotel, the rooms and beds are very comfortable! The breakfast is wonderful, lots of fresh fruit and made-to-order off a short menu. The girl at the front office was super helpful and friendly! The sitting area has a wonderful view over the valley. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this property!

Very nice place to stay. We had an apartment, very private with parking. Walking distance to everything. Breakfast was delicious! Included in the price. Would love to come back and stay in this place again.

Camino Verde was such a cute property. It’s not your typical hotel- it feels very homey and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The eating area also doubles as a “living room” of sorts with people hanging out there in the afternoons and evenings enjoying the free coffee, tea, and popcorn. The staff are excellent as well. Diego was so kind and helpful and was always a smiling face ready to greet us. My kids (and my husband and I) voted this as our favorite stay in Costa Rica due to all the factors listed above.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent two night stay at Camino Verde. The front desk desk Diego and Jocelyn were so welcoming and provided exceptional advice to any of our questions. The location was ideal with only 5 min walk to shops and restaurants. There is a soda next door where we enjoyed a fantastic meal. The room was clean and served our purpose. We did not have a room with a view but the views from the dining and sitting area are amazing. Breakfast was also hot to order and offered four different options. Totally recommend.

Camino Verde B&B was an absolute gem in Monteverde—cozy, welcoming, and perfectly located. The staff truly make the experience special, especially Jocelyn, who went above and beyond to help us with recommendations and logistics, always with a genuine smile. You can feel the care and thought put into every detail. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it without hesitation.

Hotel Camino Verde is a lovely small hotel with wonderful staff. While the room was on the smaller side, it was very comfortable and well appointed. They offer secure parking, and in the evenings there’s a cozy wood-burning stove, which is a nice touch. The location is also great, with just a short walk into town. A few odd things: no food or drinks are allowed in the rooms. They do provide free coffee and tea all day, along with free popcorn in the afternoon, which is generous. However, guests are expected to wash their own cups and return them. We noticed some people only rinsed the cups, and others grabbed popcorn directly from the popper with unclean hands. While this isn’t the hotel’s fault, it was off-putting—we didn’t love the idea of drinking from a cup that may not have been properly washed. Personally, I’d rather pay for coffee knowing it’s served in a clean cup.

Excellent amenities and great cooked to order breakfast. Cute well decorated room with a very comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Diego helped booked our tour to the cloud forest with a very knowledgeable guide. Short walk to the town center.
