The hotel is in a wonderful location with polite and helpful staff. Some lovely details: the room had bathrobes, an ironing board, good-quality shampoos, and — most importantly — a shower with a handheld showerhead instead of one fixed to the ceiling.
However, there are major downsides. The building is very old, including the furniture. The heating system is centralized and the radiators turn on automatically. To my surprise, in the middle of July, the radiator suddenly turned on at full power, making the room unbearably hot and stuffy. I went to the reception, and they promised to turn it off, but it came back on at 2 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. I ended up changing hotels.
There is also no fridge in the room. You can request to store your items at the reception, which is very inconvenient. The same goes for ice — there’s no ice machine, and you have to ask at reception, where the staff would disappear to the basement to get it.
