Homewood Suites was the perfect choice for a surprise Father-Son trip with my Dad. They have a complementary shuttle to/from the airport and the location is perfect for an intinerary that spans La Jolla to San Diego. We'll definitely come back

The staff was so nice and friendly. Breakfast was great with different options daily. Pool was warm and perfect for kids. Full kitchenette was great.

Great hotel and even better staff! We had an amazing time here. They were friendly, courteous, and helpful way beyond what I expected. The suites were nice, clean, and well maintained. The only hiccup was the pillows. They’re way too understuffed and left me in pain every morning. Bring your own pillows. I would definitely recommend them though. In a heartbeat

Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was excellent for our trip. I would definitely recommend these suites.

Be careful which way your room faces and whether the blackout drapes actually COVER the window or you will be illuminated all night by very bright property lights. Also, if you're near the basketball court...bounce bounce bounce.

The property is great for families. The only downside is parking costs 21.00 per day!

In a nice & pretty location. Couch was filthy and we asked to be moved after discovering bugs!!

Thank you for the honest feedback and your review. Glad to hear you enjoyed the location. So sorry to hear about the couch condition. We are going through a full renovation starting in May which will replace all furniture in the rooms! We do our best to eliminate/treat the rare cases of ants in the room but understand the frustration.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The grounds were well kept and pretty. The staff was friendly and the morning breakfast was well stocked and yummy.

Traveling solo to visit our son (in the Marines)…. Such an excellent trip! Always felt safe, so much to do within walking distance! Came across The Rock Church on a walk… went both Sundays during my stay! The amazing staff, hotel and all the wonderful people made this trip ABSOLUTELY MEMORABLE!

The hotel was conveniently located close to the airport and various different restaurants. Easy access to the different freeways. The property is clean and amenities are GREAT especially the breakfast. So glad we chose Homewood by Hilton and would definitely book here again.

Added service animal on reservation and check in and housekeeping noted their was animal and then I was charged for a “pet” feee….what was the point of me telling anyone or adding the service animal to reservation….such a hard job to listen and read? Very disturbing

Sorry to hear about the pet discrepancy. We require each guest to complete a form regarding their pet. This way we can inform guests of the pet fees associated. We do not charge for service animals as long as it's compliant with ADA laws and the animal performs a specific function/task for the owner.

It was warm in the room despite my best efforts. It stayed about 73 even though I wanted it at 69-70. And the airport shuttle I had reserved didn’t arrive so I had to call an Uber. But otherwise the property is very nice and the location is great. Nice walkable path along the water right behind it, it was a 15-20 minute walk up to the Liberty Public Market. I’d stay here again
