「What a hidden gem! The 20 minute drive over rocky terrain is worth every second. The pastoral landscape is gorgeous. Driving through (very shallow) streams just adds to the adventure. At night, picture hundreds of fireflies flickering in a misty valley. The hut (no walls) I stayed in was the perfect jungle vibe. There weren’t even that many bugs in February. 「The hotel is an economy hotel, but was very acceptable for the price. I stayed 4 days. My room was small but comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The hotel does not have an elevator. The breakfast was made by the person on duty at the time when I came down in the morning. Always scrambled eggs, arepa, small piece of white bread, and coffee.
