Great location & off the beaten path but still close to everything. Staff was helpful & friendly. The building is 800 years old. We were there during a heat wave & it was uncomfortably warm sleeping. Not the hotel’s fault, but something to know.

My stay was pleasant. The greatest aspect of this hotel is: location, location, location. Plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options all within a very short walk. The breakfast was good, albeit lacking in options, but that's ok. Note that there is no air conditioning, or ceiling fans, so the room felt very stuffy by late afternoon unless you keep the windows open.

Th The place is historic, but the rooms and bathrooms are in need of renovation and look tired. The hotel is in the heart of the action and within walking distance to major attractions. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t indicate that they did not have ac despite it being a 4 star hotel. Under normal circumstances it would it be fine, but due to a heat wave, it was unbearable. We had to leave. Other than that blip, it was a charming hotel with lots of character (we had suite 2 and it was adorable)!

We loved this place. Great history, location, cleanliness, breakfast, and staff. Make sure you understand how to get in and out of the parking area if you bring a car. It is tricky and you can easily find yourself lost. We will stay here again if we come back.

What a neat property! Prime location near the Festungbahn, Dom and Mozartplatz. Easy walk across the river to see Mirabel gardens and other sites. No AC but we had a big fan in the room and with the open window, it was very comfortable, even in the heat of the day. Call ahead to be sure you can get parking if you need that. Staff was super helpful in getting us checked in and parked since the hotel is in a pedestrian zone and it can be a bit tricky. The location is worth it. Great breakfast in the morning. We didn't get a chance to see anything at the Kino, but that was a neat feature if we'd stayed longer. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to stay during Christmas. They have a historic movie theater attached which we attended, also an excellent Italian restaurant where we ate 3 times, room was updated and with a beautiful bathroom. Easy taxi ride of about 13 euro, to the hotel and back. Very good breakfast, and being in old town adds to the experience. Very friendly staff as well.
