「We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year as it's handy for visiting family. The staff are always welcoming and the rooms comfortable. The only thing we find is a regular issue is that there is always at least one item not available on the evening meal menu and this time is was more than one, which was a little frustrating. However, the food was of a good standard and the breakfasts are always excellent. Despite the warm weather, the room was fairly cool, so we were able to get a comfortable...

The owner was pleasant and greeted the guest, explaining the facilities adequately however, there were a number of issues: There were no towels provided (contrary to what was stated on the booking), there was no breakfast provided (contrary to what was stated on the booking), the free wi-fi was unusable and there were mouldy banana's in the cupboard! Although the beds are very comfortable the furniture and decor are very dark and outdated. This is reflected in the price which is very reasonable.
