"We were refused the entry to the hotel. We reached hotel at 11pm. Rang the door bell nobody answer it. Rang the number on the booking. The guy at the either end of the phone was rude, un copertive, not helpful and also he put the phone down on me. I several time and the guy took the phone of the hook so I could not get in touch. We arrived early, rooms still being cleaned but advised to return after 3pm.Only information at property was a taxi number. No info regarding the area, maps, how to get to areas of interest. Kitchen facilities but Coffee machine would be useful as for 1 night stay people dont tend to purchase coffee & milk. Have use of private fridge & extra charge to use launndry facilities but...

Top Saja and Nansa valleys Hotel Reviews

Hotel Bahia

10/10 Excellent

"Great location for the ferry and easy walk into the town centre and railway/ bus station. Very comfortable room."

Hotel Bemón Playa

10/10 Excellent

"Tucked out of the way, Hotel Playa Bemón became a refuge for me from the hurly burly of both Santander City and the more conspicuous hotels in Somo. I enjoyed a magnificent two nights of perfect sleep. There was also the business of a delightful 30 minute ferry ride from a cute little slip just a few minutes walk from the Santander bus depot. All of this just totally enchanting. In the evening glorious sunsets from the beach at Somo, overlooking the bay and Santander. The Hotel staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. No complaints of any kind, really. On both mornings of my two-day stay I ambled over to the Somo beach and found surfers galore--there was an international surf meet going on--and delighted in watching them ply their skills on the waves. "catch a wave and you're sitting on top of the world" the Beach Boys sang back in the early 1960's. True to form here. I also enjoyed a fantastic dinner in one of the sophisticated eateries in the small town of Somo. Fresh seafood, good wine, excellent service. I highly recommend the experience of visiting Somo and staying at the Hotel Playa Bemón."

Hotel Picos de Europa

10/10 Excellent

"We arrived at 1pm and were able to check into our room. Very clean, powerful shower and small bottles of complimentary water and toiletries replenished each day. Great location for walking around the city. Hotel guests receive 10% discount off menu del dia, served 1pm-4pm - choice of 3 starters, mains and desserts and includes bread and half a bottle of wine each for €18. The Rioja wine is very full bodied. Highly recommended for authentic home cooked Spanish food. Would highly recommend this hotel."

Estudios Aranzazu

10/10 Excellent

"All wonderful for the price. The staff were so friendly. Checkin was great and loved that the key was on your phone. The normal beds had a nice firm mattress, the window had great blinds that kept light out. Lots of space in wardrobes. Shower pressure was great (shower curtain not so great at keeping water out the bathroom). Towels provide along with small toiletries such as mini soap blocks and single use bodywash and shapoo in one, Had a TV and mini kitchenette. Good lighting in the room.with bedside tables and lights. Lots of charge points too. We were in the 5th floor with 1 quick lifts availble. Area was great, a coffee and bakery shop less than a minute away, along with two bars that were very cheap. Its around 30 minutes to the harbour and 15 minutes to closest set of resturants. The area is pretty flat with no major hills. The only niggle which we didn't raise with the hotel was that the additional bed in our triple room was very loud when ever you moved."
