Excellent check in to the lovely room. Reported a problem with the shower, which hotel responded to. Room opened directly onto a small private terrace with table & chairs, and the beautiful beach.

Friendly smooth check in, nice rooms, strangely small bathrooms and hotel lifts, impression hotel is squeezed into the building. Nice decor. Good breakfast. Superb old port location. Decent VFM .

Bedroom layout. Including a sofa meant bed was too close to bathroom doors. Having a separate toilet, means you have to walk round to wash hands. Bath very slippery. Pierre & Vacances La Rochelle Résidence Centre
Curtains were dirty. Did not like that we had to make our beds on arriving and strip beds on departure. Lift was not working and we were not advised before arrival. Not great if you have mobility issues
