"We had a very nice and comfortable ground floor room with a small outdoor patio with table and chairs with beautiful views overlooking the river. Loved the old world charm of the lobby and dining room and the carved wooded ducks throughout the property. We had not thought to make dinner (or breakfast) reservations when booking, and in fact had chosen the hotel because we were on a road trip and it had in-house dining. However, we arrived at 5:30 just as 2 large bus loads of tourists were checking in, and were initially told that the dining room was fully booked. But upon checking, they were able to give us an 8:30 reservation. Much later than we would have liked, but we were too tired to get back in the car to seek out somewhere else and were really looking forward to the hotel dining room having read many good reviews. It was worth the wait as our dinner was superb. Tough getting a breakfast reservation as well, but we did get in at the opening time of 7:00 a.m. and enjoyed a very good breakfast as well. Would recommend this hotel, but do make meal reservations well in advance of arrival!"

"the room was very spacious and beds were comfortable. It was closer to the highway than I thought so that was a little loud and not super private to sit outside but it was still nice to have an outside space. Staff were great and met me after hours so I could check in, which was greatly appreciated. Overall a nice stay, but not lots to do, however our purpose was an accessible space that was roomy enough for 4 adults and it more than met that need."
