"totally fantastic stay at this absolutely gorgeous property. the welcome was warm, the room comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the property grounds and views amazing. the breakfast was amazing - the best we had on our trip through Normandy. everything was delicious and fresh. definitely recommend staying here, it was positively enchanting."

"Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special."

"Their amenities description says they have A/C and luggage storage, these were the reasons I picked this hotel, what they had instead was a fan in the room and temperature in the room was 28 C, so had to open the room’s window, but then bugs were coming inside. The bathroom was covered in mold all over the ceiling and the shower had mold in most of the grout. The carpet of the room was very dirty and the bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable. "First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. "Nice landscaping, beautiful grounds overlooking pasture and within easy walking distance of city center. Easy oarking, helpful staff and ample breakfast."

"Nice property. This old building is a reasonable walking distance to the downtown and the burger place right beside it is 10/10! The four person room was great as the two twin beds are upstairs in a loft area. The kids got their own space to spread out. The beds are hard, but clean. Bathroom was a good size and as expected. Obviously, no AC but they provided fans on each level."
