「Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house. Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors. 「The staff are helpful and friendly. They were always willing to help with things beyond their responsibility, like recommending me with good restaurants nearby, looking for day tours for me and helping me to store my luggage after I checked out! Brilliant hotel with very nice staff!」

「It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. I was worried about not having air conditioning but there was a fan in the room and when the windows were open it had a nice cross breeze so it wasn’t an issue. 「Villa Lara was exceptional in all categories above!! If you are spending time in Normandy or Bayeaux, hands down this is the only place to stay. Don’t even consider another hotel. 「Very unique hotel! We got to stay in the "stables!" It was beautiful converted into a nice room for 3 with a kitchenette and it was very clean. Do make sure you request breakfast when you check-in for the next day if you will be wanting it. This needs to be "pre-ordered." We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.」

「Un bel établissement à proximité de Clécy, au grand calme, un endroit en pleine campagne, très reposant. Une grande chambre avec une très bonne literie avec tout le confort.
