The hotel staff were excellent and friendly and the price was great. It was a little bit of a drive to see the main city center but it’s no problem if you have transportation. Would stay here again.

Ibis appear to win the inexpensive hotel stakes.

After spending a week travelling through France, moving between budget hotels our conclusion was ‘choose an Ibis’. This particular hotel was clean, convenient for drivers and inexpensive. One distinct advantage was the adjacent restaurant.

Stayed one night for a day trip from Paris. Great location to drive to and from Bayeux and all of the WW2 locations. Continental breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable and the AC cold. Very quiet as well.

Conveniently situated for att the D-day sites and others. The room, albeit on the smaller size was ample for me and my 2 daughters ages 12 and 15. Room cleaned and tidied every day. We opted for the breakfast at just under 10 euro for me and my 15 year old and half price for the 13 year old. In my opinion slightly overpriced for a continental. Would definitely consider an Ibis Budget again.

Very friendly staff. Great selection for. Breakfast. Absolutely I heavenly baguettes, croissants, and pain de chocolate. Just as one would expect anywhere in France. Good location, clean, safe, rooms. Fair price. Wonderful stay. Hope to come back one day.

Rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, Towels are getting pretty thin. Although they had coffee machines in the Lobby we were told they were only for breakfast and not to use when we came back in the late afternoon/evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ibis Budget Bayeux. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English for those who like me have a limited knowledge of French. The beds were comfortable and the room temperature was perfect. Breakfast was a typical self serve continental breakfast, with plenty of choice available. The only disappointment was that the wasn’t a kettle in the room to make a drink, although there was a machine in the foyer for hot drinks; great if you are a coffee drinker but not so good if you like tea! Perfect location for getting into Bayeux by car, it’s about a 7 minute drive to the centre and is easily found on leaving the main road. We would definitely stay again if we return to Bayeux.

was perfect for me

great stay for a nice price. clean room, friendly staff. if you don't have a car it's a bit far from downtown bayeux. but if you're comfortable walking or cycling, it's fine. i actually walked from/to the main train station with a backpack and enjoyed the scenery. also glad i added the breakfast option when i ckecked-in. worked out nice to fuel up in the mornings before long cycling trips.
