Find Beach Hotels in Saint Lawrence

"The hotel is old and beat up. Not so clean. They are renovating it slowly but it was one of the worst hotels I stayed in in a very long time. And I travel non-stop. Super overpriced for what it is. Only nice thing was the view and the beach. Great spot. Beautiful water and sand. They must renovate this place. "

"The cleanliness and work by staff was outstanding. The Pool and premises were very beautiful. The nearness to the beach and good shopping is excellent. The things to be improved are the Internet. It was working well for two weeks and after the hotel was under new ownership it cut in and out. The Fridge leaked water. A promise to repair was not carried out in 3 weeks. The room safe was broken. The promise of replacement was not carried out. When using the phone to contact reception the 100 number given did not work. Luncheon on a Sunday with three people and after ordering took 1 hr 30 minutes to receive food. It is a lovely Hotel and I hope they can remedy the things mentioned."

"I don't like to leave negative reviews for hotels. I feel like you can't please everyone all the time. However, I had to make an exception for this one. We booked this trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. It started out great the property is located right on a beautiful beach. The hotel room "appeared" to be perfect. First came the issue with our dinner reservations for my husband's birthday. The person that booked the dinner reservations made a mistake and didn't enter it into their system. Mistakes happen. No worries. When we showed up at the restaurant the two hostesses were so unprofessional about it. Basically, telling us that we had to find somewhere else to eat since we were not booked for that night. Thankfully, I had the list of restaurants on a piece of paper from the woman that originally booked us and retrieved it from my room which still did not rectify the situation immediately or give us an apology for the way they initially acted. Eventually we were seated but at that point we felt very unwelcomed. In addition, 2 days in we noticed that my son had bites on him but not realizing what it was we brushed it off. By the end of our 5-day trip, my son had multiple bites all over his body. When we realized this was an issue we went to guest services in the lobby. There were 3 people that saw the bites and brushed us off. I took several pictures and consulted with our doctor today and he indeed confirmed that he was bitten by bed bugs. "

"Good location with adequate parking in hotel grounds. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Big supermarket within easy walking distance and other convenience stores/shops even closer. Bars, restaurants and other eateries all close by. Easy access to public transport due to being virtually on main road but not close enough to hear traffic noise. Easy access to public beach. There was insufficient sunbeds for the amount of umbrellas available. This meant that sunbeds were reserved very early (0600). Beds without umbrellas were usually available at anytime but in general there should be more sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. "
