The Hotel Les Saules is a wonderful hotel that is a must for that trip away for any reason. The staff are personable and welcoming; very professional. Vonnas is this beautiful little town in France that is a hot bed of culinary excellence and the gem of the hospitality industry.
Our room was lovely and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well thought out. Our room looked out over the square of the town which also served as the parking lot for everything,...

Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. Upon our return that evening, we walked into the courtyard and were treated to a perfectly clear sky with hundreds of stars. Herve told us the following morning...

Hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was really great. WiFi had some issues while we were there, but otherwise I would recommend the hotel.

This was the perfect en route overnight stay for us. We had just flown from Seattle to Paris and were driving to Italy. This hotel has exactly what we needed for a very comfortable stay after a post-transatlantic flight: excellent beds, immaculate room and bathroom, easy and excellent dinner and breakfast, and the nicest staff ever. And the price was very reasonable.
We will be back!

easy to get to by the 32 bus to Valery and then a walk of a few minutes. Its a great place with a kitchenette , pans, plates etc. Across the street is an incredible enormous market called FRESH which is all fresh vegetables, meats, etc... East walk of 7 minutes to the Monastery... loved it...
didnt eat breakfast, with fridge in room had yogurt..

The hotel was a charming place, had all the French old charms.
Room was clean and neatly arranged. Staff was amazing, our Hostesses was fabulous and the breakfast was very well made and delicious.
If you’re ever the area, I would highly recommend staying there at Hotel Au Coq Dort.
