"Location is ideal, staff helpful and friendly. Pool & jacuzzi a little on the cold side - Disappointed that you had to pay for the steam room. "I stayed the second time in Hotel Victoria. What is amazing for me is the level of service and the attention to details. It is a classic 5 star service combined with the warm hospitality of the owner family. This mix and the beautiful setting is getting rare in the world of hospitality. "This was a nice sized room with a comfy king sized bed. The building itself is historic, but the rooms are updated and modern with hard surface flooring. We were on the third floor and had a nice balcony that looked over the lake. Lots of shopping and dining options near the hotel. Easy to grab transit or Taxi/Uber as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Montreaux. "

"Location was excellent! Room had a great lake view and was very comfortable. The only staff we encountered was at the front desk. She was great! We could walk to and from the train station, BUT on the route we took we had go DOWN towards the lake and encountered a LOT of stairs to go down, which leads towards the lake, turned left at the bottom of the stairs then a few blocks to the hotel. Escalator is available on the return to train station, in lieu of the LOTS of stairs BUT only an UP escalator. We had only carryon luggage, so it was okay on the down part, but if we’d had larger luggage we would’ve gotten a taxi or ride share. Overall it was a great location. The promenade along the lake is spectacular! Would definitely book this hotel again!"
