"We had a lovely stay. The staff could not have done enough for you. The place is kinda old fashioned but i think that part of its charm. The food served in the restaurant in the evening and for breakfast was very high quality and delicious. The staff were wonderful. Apparently the (waiting) staff dont really get many tips, so you may want to tip separately rather at the end of the stay to ensure they get it. It wasnt clear. One little negative, the room was way too hot and took hours to cool...

Quirky , in a good way.
"We stayed at The Playden Oast in for one night during our road trip to Kent. We payed a little extra and stayed in one of the Oast Towers. As expected the room way round, the bed matched the room. All facilities where very clean and the free standing bath was an unexpected bonus. Car parking and wi-fi where good and we enjoyed a good meal in the evening. Recommended if you are looking for something different."
