Breakfast was bare bones but just ok. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and the price was great. Overall really good experience. Would definitely stay here again if our travels ever bring us through the area again.

It was an older motel , but decent . Bed slept good and it had great rates . I would highly recommend it .

We love this place however this time the sheets and bed skirt had blood on them, I do not think the beds had been stripped and new sheets put on from previous stay.

For the price of the hotel, it's really hard to beat! We've stayed here before and always been very pleased. Now I'm going to say this, it's certainly not a Hilton, but you are only paying a small percentage of what a Hilton room would cost. The breakfast isn't anything amazing, but it's enough to get you going into your day.

Seen a cockroach on food pantry door. Room very musky, bathroom counter falling apart, doors slamming all hours of the night could hear every noise very well no muffle

The Rutledge Inn is quiet and peaceful; however, the swivel chair in the room is broken and will dump you on the floor if you are not careful!

Don’t have expectations beyond getting a nights sl

An okay place to stay in a small town. Room was cleanish, however several items were broken, or in disrepair. Lamps, chair, coffee maker, etc. my biggest complaint is that it is listed as a non smoking property, however each day there was cigarette and marijuana smoke coming in from other rooms. I spoke with the front desk the first evening and was moved, which addressed the situation for the first night. When I spoke to management, they confirmed the policy of no smoking and assured that they would address the situation. However the same thing happened the next day. The property had several guests from construction sites and/or international trade from the local auto parts plant. It was rooms occupied by these individuals who violated the smoking policy. I am confident they valued the revenue created by these guests, over a two night traveling party, and chose to disregard the nonsmoking policy. Poorly done. Find a way to make everyone’s stay healthy and comfortable.
