"No hot water, no working internet, they say they have internet and hot water for showers but it never works. I could barely lock my room, no working tv, lights in bathroom did not work, curtains falling out of wall. Everyone of these issues was brought to management the first three days and nothing was done. I stopped complaining. "A surprisingly well equipped and well conceived property in the south-western region of Uganda. It's very quiet, very well-designed and my wife says it is of European quality - which is a compliment! We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was very spacious. The facilities including gym are way better than in most Ugandan properties. It is a little overpriced and the food is unremarkable BUT if I had to stay near Mbarara and I could get the rate down by 30% this would definitely be my preferred...

"We arrived late in the night and the staff actually picked calls to give us directions and we find the person we had been talking to waiting for us at the entrance. The check-in was smooth. We had challenges with the water heaters on day one, however, when we reported to the staff, they rectified the issue. They have "Katogo" and "Chapati" as options for breakfast. "My third time staying here. I come to Uganda for a charity - so on a budget. Also staying by myself. I travel out each week day to work and spend evenings and weekends here.
