"The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The breakfast was basic. I wished it had more fruit options besides just oranges. The parking had ample spaces for cars. The reason for only 4 stars - our room was located next to the ice machine area, so I was awaken at 1:30am by someone getting the ice. I noticed that anytime I book a hotel room through Expedia, the hotel always tries to give you a room at the worst location of the hotel or the room for handicapped people where sinks are lower than usual so you end up bending more to use them. I think Expedia should address this issue with the hotels."

"I only stayed one night as I was only in the area for a concert. But the location was perfect and the area felt very safe. The staff were all very friendly and the room was clean. All in all this location meet my expectations. I didn’t really use any of the amenities because I was there for such a short time but I have to say when I first arrived and walking into the lobby and it smelled of popcorn, that put a smile on my face…. I mean who doesn’t love the scent of popcorn. I also appreciated that you had hot chocolate packets at breakfast because I don’t drink coffee or OJ so being able to make a warm cup of cocoa before I hit the road was lovely."

"This was my first time staying at a Kimpton property and I was really impressed! We loved everything about it. The bath products you provided were amazing, the robes were super comfortable, the pillows and the bed were extremely comfortable. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious! And, the grounds and arboretum were gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very comfortable room, kitchenette and full sized fridge was welcome, super clean. Breakfast was typical but good (even the coffee!). Only hitch was a slightly abrupt front desk clerk (the other couple I dealt with were lovely). Parking was tight tho I did get a spot. Didn’t have my dog with me but looked like a great place for pets, big grassy area with benches and bins for waste bags."

"The lobby and a few other areas had been updated and were very nice. The late night guest services gentleman who checked us in was super friendly and made us feel welcome. And, of course, there were the warm cookies! The room was also very nice and had all the amenities needed for comfort--plenty of options for recharging devices, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. Unfortunately, the bathroom was out of date and needed some maintenance. The bathtub had a few black marks that, at first, looked like dirt, but were actually wear marks or stains. The bottom of the door was ragged and beyond repair. In addition to that, the bath gel was nearly empty--better attention about replenishing is needed. The best part of the room, however, was the bed. Incredibly comfortable mattress and crisp, fresh sheets. Best sleep in a long time!"
