「I had a great stay the room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were most helpful and approachable making me feel more settled as I travelled alone. The breakfast was amazing and hot! The room was clean and there was complimentary things in the bathroom which you never get! The only snag was I could hear some sort of generator or air conditioning unit that didn’t go off/ quieter until midnight and I like it quiet when I sleep or I can’t sleep.」

「I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay. It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub.」

「The apartment was securely accessed. The apartment itself was large, comfortable and very clean. Access to the nearest pub/restuarant was only 4 min walk away, but kitchen facilities were ample if you wanted to make your own food.」

「I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!」

「Beautiful place and charming experience - Step Back in Time Warm welcome from family run hosts. Accommodation so pretty with tranquil view resembling an old English painting. Like a dolls house. Quiet secluded countryside experience. Working farm. Time stands still. Not rushed in the morning. Home cooked food lovingly prepared. Home baked bread. There’s no point paying 1.5x the price to stay in Lincoln. Treat yourself! 」
