Hidden gem

I would like to start this review saying that is my fourth time in Italy and this time I am spending over two weeks here. I have been in 3 starts and 4 starts hotels that I didn’t feel this much comfortable and well served. Everything from the beginning to the very end was perfect. Best in class in service, politeness, kindness, great bed sheets, spacious bedroom, and a speechless breakfast. Everything was fresh made for every customer one by one. Also, the pastries come from the owners bakery and OMG! They taste amazing. I will make sure I recommend this hotel for everyone and for sure I will come back too.

Ad accoglierci è stato il proprietario che ci ha illustrato la struttura e le sue vicinanze la camera ed il bagno molto pulito, al mattino la colazione con briosce di pasticceria molto buone, vicinissimo sia al mare che al centro.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Damen am Empfang und beim Frühstück waren überaus freundlich, insbesondere auch zu den Kindern. Der Check-in war unkompliziert und uns wurde direkt gezeigt, wo wir (am Hotel) kostenlos parken können. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer schön eingerichtet. Wer ein üppiges Frühstücksbuffet braucht, wird eventuell ein bisschen enttäuscht sein, da es hauptsächlich süßes Gebäck gibt - dieses kommt allerdings aus der eigenen Bäckerei und ist sehr lecker (Cornetti, verschiedene Kuchen und andere Leckereien). Ruhige Lage und fußläufig zu einem schönen Spazierweg entlang der Küste. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

A parte la gentilezza e professionalità del personale, che ho apprezzato molto, e la biancheria del bagno cambiata tutti i giorni, le condizioni della camera erano scadenti. Non si pretendeva un servizio da 4 stelle, ma almeno che tanti dettagli fossero curati in maniera decente. In camera mancava la tenda alla finestra, il letto cigolava in modo tale da non poter riposare la notte; nel bagno mancava un portasapone nella doccia, la tavoletta del wc era instabile e senza il coperchio, col rischio che qualcosa potesse cadere dentro il gabinetto. A completare il quadro, l’ultima mattina di soggiorno non arrivava l’acqua calda in bagno e non abbiamo potuto fare la doccia.

Le foto dell’hotel non rispecchiano molto le condizioni attuali della struttura,la terrazza x la colazione non era accessibile , nemmeno il giardino sul retro forse perché era fine aprile . Anche il giardino all’entrata era abbastanza trascurato. Camere pulite.La colazione è abbondate di ottimi dolci, pochissimo salato e non a buffet . Noi abbiamo preso una stanza economy con balcone e per il prezzo (molto basso),direi che era perfetta anche se piccola. Simpatica e disponibile la ragazza alla reception!!

Personale "poco professionale", la signora delle pulizie ci dava la colazione e ci ha bittati fuori dalla stanza per pulire. non consigliato per famiglie in zona ci sono altre strutture piu' attrezzate. Da unser Lieblingshotel in Castiglioncello geschlossen wurde, haben wir dieses Jahr einen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gebucht. Wir haben für eine Woche eine renovierte Suite bewohnt. Die renovierten Zimmer sehen sehr modern und stylisch aus und der Zimmerservice war hervorragend. Das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend und lecker, vor allem das Gebäck war ein Traum. Einziges Manko sind die kostenpflichtigen Parkplätze an der Unterkunft für 11 Euro am Tag. Es gibt auch einige kostenlose Parkplätze,in der Nähe, die sind allerdings sehr begehrt. Den Zimmerpreis von 130 €pro Nacht, fanden wir für Mitte September sehr hoch und haben deswegen bei Expedia mit einem Rabattcode gebucht..
