This is a little out of the way but 100% worth it. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. They had charging available for our electric vehicle. So many nice special touches, like a glass of wine sitting outside from a local winery, local chocolates in our room, hearty breakfast in the morning. If you want to feel spoiled at a reasonable price, stay here!
beautiful grounds! This is a lovely house with vintage fixtures, a claw-foot tub in our bathroom, and we were served a delicious breakfast on the porch where we could watch hummingbirds and enjoy the cool morning.
This is a beautiful historic property, lovingly maintained to the last detail. The view from our room was stunning. Having breakfast on the front porch was a surreal experience. The hostess was welcoming and friendly. She genuinely cares about each guest. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. Will definitely be coming back!
Gorgeous setting. Lovely and exceptionally clean room - the bed was SO comfy. Really nice little touches too by the host, who was friendly and made us a great breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area.
We cannot say enough great things about this home! Very clean, very comfortable, quiet and decorated so cute! The breakfast, cooked by Genelle's son, was SO delicious! We only were able to spend one night, as we were traveling through, but are definitely going back to enjoy the grounds and home more. We had a great night's sleep and the attention to detail in our comfort (fresh cold still or sparkling water, easily accessible coffee/tea, wine upon arrival if wanted, cozy robes etc) was above and beyond. See you again soon Genelle!
A little out of the way, but the reward for that is amazing peace and quiet. AJ made us feel so welcome, and he has such a sweet doggo! The owner has thought of all the small details that make a difference. There's a nice hot tub and patio seating area for breakfast if weather permits. Plus lawn games and a view that is so serene and beautiful. I can't even begin to express how amazing the breakfast was, plus a coffee/tea bar in the hallway outside the rooms. The bed and bedding were well above average. We came in so late that we didn't want the complimentary glass of wine, so he gave us a mimosa for breakfast. I have no constructive criticism or anything negative to share at all!
We made last
Minute reservations and they were very accommodating to our late arrival. The bed was really comfortable and very clean room! We skipped the morning breakfast since we were traveling but other review said it was very good. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay longer next time. We saw deer along the road which was a bonus!
When we arrived, the host was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. There was free water and coffee provided. Two complimentary glasses of wine and beer were also included.
Our room was charming and the bed was comfortable. We selected the room with an attached bath and was so worth the privacy.
Breakfast in the morning was delicious - french toast, scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee.
Would highly recommend staying here. Only wish we could have stayed an extra day or two.
Very charming historic country house hotel and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcomed. A tasty breakfast was provided each morning and was different each time. Very good service.
It is a beautiful home, the accommodations the best. Nothing could be better. The hosts were wonderful. I highly recommend staying there. I had the Melton room with a sun room and fireplace.
Everything at the B&B was beautiful! We had been on the road for several days, and CH Bailey house was the most unbelievable treat. Our hosts were kind, accommodating and even left us a bottle of wine and snacks. We played bocce into the evening under beautiful lighting and woke up to an incredible breakfast in the garden the next morning. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful oasis. Highly recommend going to thr wilderness safari nearby, and to have dinner at Dino’s downtown.
If you need a place to stay in Oregon, look no further. The house is in the country side, thus quiet, away from noise. Owner keeps it very clean and homely. 100 times better than being in a hotel room. Owner is friendly and kind to guests. My husband and I loved being there. Oh, and there is a relaxing hot tub outside!
Book your stay and you won't regret it!
The house itself is lovely; well decorated and comfortably furnished, pastorally set and quite peaceful amidst the cows. She creaks authentically. I was the only guest and had the pleasure of chatting with the hostess, Janelle? over breakfast.
