Was there for Dominique carnival stayed for seven nights and had a great time there. The food was on point. And it was located close enough to the majority of the events. I already booked for next year.

Located conveniently to downtown and surrounding sights which were not far by car Would be great if host provided restaurant recommendations in the room Only negative is there us no hottub at the pool (I thought the small pool was a hottub) and the hot water for shower is wonky otherwise great ...

Recommend hiring a driver or cab if you are not into walking 1.5 miles to town. Narrow streets and uneven sudewalks. Make it a challenging hike. If you like local food and drink there are two places in easy walk away; 'Standards' and 'Drop Anchor'
It’s a nice town. Simple. Not a lot to offer but has nice lookouts.

Roseau is an old island town in a poor country. It has charm due to the primitive buildings painted bright colors, and the locals overall are very friendly and good hearted. Look for the "Juice Guy" who sells juices and Seamoss drinks from his van.
country continues to improve after the hurricane. it is doing well just after a year of complete devastation....
