"Beautiful main building & was surprised when I was told that I wasn't sleeping in the main building, but was put in timeshare property around the back. But tbf they, like most timeshare property were stunning very large, self catering apartments."

"We recently stayed at the Norbreck Hotel in Blackpool and came away feeling pretty disappointed. To be fair, there are a couple of positives. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the hotel has plenty of parking. The building itself is absolutely huge and has so much potential. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The exterior is tired and run-down, and while it's an impressive-looking building from a distance, it certainly doesn't give off a premium hotel feel. The inside is even more disappointing. For a hotel charging the prices it does, the standard of cleanliness and maintenance was nowhere near acceptable. Our room had mould and dirt around the windows, a broken drawer, a TV that didn't work, and the condiment tray had black mould inside it. The floorboards squeaked constantly, and the beds were so uncomfortable you could feel the springs through the mattress. My kids were excited about using the swimming pool, but after seeing the condition of the room, I wasn't comfortable letting them go. If the rooms are being maintained to that standard, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the cleanliness elsewhere. The whole place feels like it's been untouched for decades. It's outdated, worn out, and desperately in need of investment. That's a real shame because the hotel itself is enormous and could be something special with the right care and attention. We weren't expecting luxury, but we did expect a clean, well-maintained room. "

"We loved our stay at the hotel, the room was amazing and the views that came with the room were too. All the staff were really lovely but the lady in reception who dealt with us was especially helpful to us. The breakfast was really nice too. All in all a really nice night away and would recommend."

"It’s a majestic and beautiful property which has been tastefully decorated. We stayed in the family room (2 adults and a teenager) and it was huge and lovely. The only criticism would be about the bathroom…the shower pressure and no shelving in the shower or bath to put your products on (very minor though). We can’t speak highly enough of all the staff from the reception, to the restaurant/breakfast and bar. A special mention to Brendan who made one of the nicest Espresso Martinis I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back."
