"A slightly unusual setup, checking in at one hotel, but staying in another - We stayed in The Maison Blanche. The Portuguese lady on reception couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful and gave us a lovely welcome. The room is quite dated, but has plenty of quirky character — including an old-fashioned radio built into the bedside cabinet. We had a few little niggles with the TV and fridge, but these were sorted out for us. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, with a lovely view from our room. An added bonus was having access to the Alpentherme pools and sauna, which we really enjoyed."

"We couldn't have found a better fit for our family of 3 on our visit to Switzerland. Bruna at the front desk was truly the most amazing hostess to check us in, give us clarity on parking in town, share courtesy tram passes and remind us how good the breakfast is in the kitchen nook! Her personality and smile was out of this world!!! We did dinner in the restaurant also and it too was amazing! The fresh squeezed orange juice machine blew my mind and made the courtesy breakfast that much more amazing! The mountain view out of our room was like none I've ever had with it being so close, and the flower boxes perched outside the window added that touch of detail that was just one of many you'll notice when you stay here. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, which after 30k steps hiking is very much appreciated!!! If this place has an opening for your visit, there is no reason to look elsewhere. Guaranteed you'll be writing a similar 5 star review after your stay. Enjoy your travels!"

"absolutely loved our experience at hotel escher in leukerbad. the staff is above and beyond excellent!! they personally escorted us to a parking space, made sure we got our room even though we arrived slightly after closing, friendly and completely helpful and informative. we had great views of a full moon from our room, impossibly beautiful views from the breakfast room (breaky was delish) and plan to return to climb the via ferrata and enjoy hiking other trails. great price, clean rooms incredible leukerbad, such an excellent time"

"Be sure to book a superior mountain view vs standard room. Staff was very accommodating and for an additional fee we were able to change rooms. Breakfast was a highlight (excellent) and location was convenient. Appreciated the drying rack outside to hang washing under a covered balcony. Our stay was very pleasant and rooms were quiet."
