Nice spacious triple room with lots of windows that open. No AC. Staff was excellent and Marco at the front desk is a true gentleman. Great location. Close to everything with restaurants and stores across the street. I highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast included. Richard from Canada.

The staff was excellent, very accommodating. The location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do, plus close to the bus and train station. Most importantly to us was how quiet the room was. Our sleep was never interrupted. Definitely would stay there again.

Mostly clean, good location. Bed very comfortable for us. Staff were friendly and courteous. Older style/traditional hotel, nothing wrong with that. We enjoyed the old-fashioned lift! Breakfast was a good continental spread, including boiled egg, sliced cheese/ham, and yogurt for protein. Downsides - whilst bathroom was clean, the shower leaked onto the floor, but it had good power and was hot. The aircon leaked a bit onto the floor on a couple of days, but not much. It was also a bit weak, could have been more powerful, we needed to keep window open and that was noisy although we had our earplugs so didn't bother us too much. It's perfectly adequate place to stay if you need a good base for exploring Rome, and don't have exceptionally high/fussy standards or need loads of mod cons.

The hotel was not as advertised on their website. The picture of their twin room is far from accurate. It's not a minibar just because you slap a sticker saying "minibar" on the mini refrigerator. The pictures of the dining room are misleading. The only fresh fruit was cut up melon of some sort. The air conditioning was turned off for the entire hotel. I had to specifically ask for it to be turned on. There was WiFi, but it wasn't sufficient to access the internet.

Wonderful place to stay while in Rome, rooms are clean and very old fashioned, yet equipment with everything you might need. All the big attractions are close by and easy to walk to or access by bus. And most importantly the staff are super friendly and helpful. I would recommend it and I will definitely stay here again whenever I came back to Rome!

It is fun staying at Serena. My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay. Markos is our main man. He is funny and we shared a lot of jokes. Aside from all other staff members are truly tourist oriented. They go all out.
