Traditional stay in a quieter area of Rome

We stayed here for five nights and enjoyed our stay. We primarily came for the European Athletics Championships at the Stadio Olimpico and it took us about a 25 minute walk although there are lots of buses from here too and to the city centre. So good transport nearby. The accommodation was traditional and elegant. The breakfast was adequate but basic but hot drinks available self service in the breakfast room. The rooms are double glazed and have air conditioning so not noisy as our fellow guests were considerate. The area is residential and mainly quiet and we enjoyed sitting in the leafy courtyard. We had a bathroom plumbing issue that was resolved quickly.

They should stop providing breakfast it is horrible and quality went bad day by day. Host does her own thing and doesn’t listen. Checkout time was 11.00 we were kicked out at 10.30. If you are going to run a bed an breakfast in city like Rome learn some ver basic English to communicate its not that hard

Fortemente deludente

Puzza di varechina insopportabile sia in camera che nelle parti comuni (risciaquo insufficiente), Asciugamani con grosse macchie marroni. Casa anni 30 con arredo quasi tutto coevo. Rumore fortissimo del traffico (1 piano basso). Frigo in camera rumoroso. Unica nota positiva la vicinanza con le principali mete turistiche per il resto la struttura non vale la metà della cifra che viene richiesta.

Vi va mycket nöjda med vårt rum. Hade önskat lite pålägg typ ost till frukosten. Bokade transfer ifrån flygplatsen, hade varit fint om dom berättade priset.

This is a very basic and typical Italian hotel. The area around it doesn't have much around it, although there is a taxi stand across the street which makes it easy to get around Rome. It is a nice quiet safe area. Plusses: The apartment is quiet, breakfast is great and brought to your room. The rooms are spacious and the shower is hot with a lot of water pressure. Drawbacks: They clean your room inconsistently. I was there for a week and they only made my bed twice. The walls are paper thin. Checkout time is inconsistent. On New Years Day they made us check out at 10:30 instead of 12 which I thought was rude considering it was a holiday. The heaters in the room aren't great and the beds are super hard.

Ottimo B&B

Abbiamo passato 3 notti in questo B&B e ci siamo trovati benissimo, la camera era spaziosa e pulita, l'accoglienza è stata gentilissima (malgrado il nostro treno avesse avuto un'ora di ritardo), la colazione abbondante viene servita in camera all'orario richiesto (fra le 8 e le 10). La posizione è ottima, si va a piedi in Vaticano e in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiungono metro e numerosi tram e autobus (attenzione ai borseggiatori ... ma questo non è colpa del B&B). Il B&B è al primo piano, c'è l'ascensore ma alcuni gradini sono da fare

Rezidenza Mazzini

I definitely recommend this hotel. The room is clean, simple and cute- it reminded me of staying at my grandmothers house. It was very quiet, and breakfast is brought to your room promptly each morning (you select from the menu and select the time). It is a roughly a ten-minute walk to the Lepanto Metro station, additionally, a taxi stand is directly out front. I returned from Italy with a large box, so I took a taxi to the Termini station and an express train to the airport. The taxi from the hotel was less than 10 euros, and another 14 for the train. It was a 20 minute walk to the National Etruscan Museum, but I used the metro to visit the “big ticket” items, such as the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. My Googlemaps app put those at a one hour walk from the hotel, or you can use the metro and get off at the Colosseum, roughly a 15-20 minute journey in total. Oddly enough, there is no front desk at this place, so you have to phone ahead and make arrangements to check-in the day before. I had an Italian speaking friend call for me, and it turned out well. Lisa, with whom I interacted, speaks fair but limited English. The hotel is close to a grocery store, but there are not many restaurants close by. I would stay there again.

Ihana huoneisto kelpo sijainnilla. Sänky oli melko kova ja huoneen seinät ohuet, mutta muuta negatiivista sanottavaa kohteesta ei ole. Aamupala tuotiin huoneeseen, sillä ruokailutilaa ei ollut. Ihanaa tuoretta croisanttia, jogurttia, kahvia, mehua ja leipää. Todella hyvä palvelu.

Veldig hyggelig sted, romantisk og hjemmekoselig. Varm velkomst, selv om vi kom 2timer før innsjekkingstid. Stille område, med en nydelig bakgård.Frokost servert på rommet. Det eneste negative. Er at sengen var VELDIG hard og ukomfortabel. Ellers et fantastisk opphold! :-)

Pleasant Stay

At first we were a bit confused because we arrived at a gated block of flats but very quickly after some WhatsApp communication Lisa the housekeeper came down and showed us in. Lisa doesn't speak much English but thankfully I have some Italian so that was helpful. we had heavy cases and the B&B was on the first floor so that was initially a little drawback. Lisa welcomed us warmly and settled us into our room which was overlooking the Courtyard. It was very comfortable and Lisa brought us our breakfast to our room and she also accommodated a small vegan breakfast for me. The area has plenty of shops and cafes and is within easy reach of all the main attractions. I would definitely go back there again but with lighter suitcases!!!

Not a first choice

Disappointing experience. This was one of several BB we stayed. The room is small, no dresser, hot water took forever to get hot, shower pressure poor. Bathroom supply at minimum. Skip breakfast, there are very good and cheap places around.

Beautiful room, very clean, good European breakfast, hot showers, easy acces to metro & bus, close to Vatican City, a bit noisy at night as on major roadway. Bring earplugs!!
