We were dropped off by a taxi in the adjacent square as car traffic is not allowed to the entrance of the hotel. I was shocked and concerned as the entrance to the hotel is only a very large door with a buzzer, which you have to press and is answered by hotel staff and not what I am accustomed to. I entered the area and found a small but
very welcomed elevator which took us to the 3rd floor and was met by a very nice lady, and down the hall was a newly decorated very modern entry area and check in. After checking in, we went to our room 301 which looks directly out to the Spanish Steps, very nicely appointed, spacious and very clean and comfortable. All interactions with staff were very pleasant and helpful, and our stay for 3 nights was great. They helped us arrange a ride to the airport for the flight home, which was waiting at the arranged time, and got us to the airport on time. My wife and myself enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it, besides not being prepared for the initial entry to the hotel everything else was terrific and the location is very central to shopping, sightseeing and great food spots.
