Zimmer geräumig, ruhig und sehr bequemes Bett! Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sehr schwaches WLAN, Frühstück für deutsche Verhältnisse eher bescheiden, aber völlig ausreichend. Ausgezeichnete Anbindung, Personal freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Für den Preis eine sehr angenehme Überraschung.

Great stay and location

Great location by termini train station and a couple of metro stops. Everyone at the reception was very nice! Typical small European hotel room but the beds were very comfortable!

So REGRET to make a reservation at Hotel Mariano

I am so regret to make a reservation at Hotel Mariano and this is the reason WHY? I reached to this hotel in Rome at 10 PM with my wife, I already made a reservation #156552890544 to this hotel before TWO weeks and I have a reservation and confirmation number, and also I paid in full amount for my two days reservation. When I reached the front desk at 10 PM, I astonished when the front desk worker told me that there is no room for me and all the rooms are occupied. I called Hotels.com but they didn't assist me in this matter, the Hotels.com called Hotel Mariano and only reached with so bad solution with them that Hotel Mariano can take us to another hotel. My wife and I accepted that because the time is running and its passed the MIDNIGHT, then a worker took us WALKING after midnight to another hotel, and after we reached the other hotel its name Hotel D'ESTE, it was full, and they gave us a separate room outside the hotel belonging to the hotel's staff. Although the people working at Hotel D'ESTE were so good but the room was not good. It was so bad experience and also so bad because Hotels.com didn't find a probable solution for my reservation although I am a loyal customer for them. It was so bad experience from all aspects. I will never trust Hotel Mariano or go there again, and also my trust for Hotels.com went down because it didn't helped me in such a critical midnight issue for a reservation I already made and paid in full through Hotels.com.

The most reasonably-priced 3-star hotel in the area. Close to the terminal, many restaurants and just a few minutes away from the Coliseum, Forum and other great tourist locations. Max and his crew were very helpful. The free breakfast was all right. Hot/Cold drinks and pastries should only be enough to fuel you for the adventure you'll have in the city. Bathtub was a bit high to climb over, short/elderly people may need a boost.

Perfectly nice, clean, well-located property next to the central train station. Nice restaurants in walking distance. The free breakfast is really just a croissant and a coffee machine, though, so you can probably find better cafes nearby for that.

Personnel très agréable, la chambre était propre et au calme, le lit était confortable. Les petits déjeuners sont simples mais il y a ce qu'il faut quand même. L'hotel est très bien placé, à environ 20 min à pieds du Colisée. Le seul petit bémol est que nous avons eu un peu froid la nuit, mais à part cela je recommande vivement cet hotel pour un séjour à rome.

Although the rooms are quite small (especially the bathrooms), the location of this hotel is excellent for travelers who need to be close to Termini Station. Besides, you will be right in front of Mercato Centrale, the new food court of Termini Station, which offers excellent food!
