This is a small classic Italian hotel. Lobby of actual hotel is on the 5th floor with large marble steps and a very small but efficient lift. The lobby is quite small but check in was easy and rooms, while old, were comfortable and clean. My family loved staying in this neat Italian hotel. Location was great, walking distance to Colisseum.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Marcantonio. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a typical European hotel room. The AC worked well and we needed it. There are dozens of restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel is a five minute walk to termini so there is easy access to public transportation. The area is lively but our room was very quiet. I would definately stay there again.

They helped us navigate Rome with an excellent map of the city, packed a continental breakfast when we left early in the morning, agreed to hold our luggage until the afternoon of the day we checked out, and contacted me on my wife's behalf when she forgot to take her phone with her.

I absolutely loved my stay here in Rome! The staff were very kind and the breakfast in bed every morning was such a sweet touch. While my husband and I were walking from the train station to check in, I fell on the cobble stone and hurt my knee pretty good. The staff noticed during check in and helped clean up my scrapes for me!!! Very sweet people. Regarding the room, the AC was great, and it was very clean. The shower was very small, but so were most of the places we stayed in Italy. Definitely a great stay for the price. Would come again.

Everything was great! My favourite part, however minor, is the free breakfast delivered to your room - I love it. Insanely helpful staff; was hungover one night and forgot to pick out my breakfast, shot them a message on Expedia and they brought us it it to me :) My only complaint is that the A/C took my entire stay to get it to the temperature I wanted.

The staff were amazing and lovely people. The room was quite small and the shower was probably more suited to smaller people than a grown man. The air conditioning was superb and very much needed. We were concerned about the area this hotel is located in due to negative reviews of the Termini area but we found it to be a fairly safe and good area to be in. It was a good location to walk to most of the major sightseeing areas. The hotel is on the Monti side of Termini station. There were restaurants and shops quite close by. Good budget hotel for couples, not so much for families.
