Location was convenient. Good price for what we got in a hotel and located very close to public transportation to get to many places around Rome. Check In staff was very helpful and hotel offers many free activities, so check at the front desk if you want to save some money discovering things in Rome.

We arrived a little bit early and our room wasn’t ready. We had to change in the bathroom, which was really small.. Everything else was generally good but the breakfast I would not recommend everything love to old and was cold.

Great stay on the whole. But for the breakfast. We had two good days and two bad days. There are three 45-minute sittings - to be booked in advance. Our chosen sitting was not always available. Also, good though the food was, they either needed to put more out it or replenish it more quickly. They were desperately short staffed for our last two days. It would have been so much better if we could have helped ourselves to hot drinks. And the slowest toaster ever needs replacing. I ordered gluten free bread but for the last two days there wasn’t any. Can’t fault the few staff who were there though. They were troopers and kept calm and professional in a very stressful situation. They were really lovely.

Great location, amazing staff and a lovely breakfast. We stayed there for 3 nights with our 7 year old son and would stay again. They cleaned the room daily, offered tours and booked restaurants. Our Aircon failed and they fixed it within minutes. Bus stop, metro and main attractions all very walkable. Close to restaurants and gelato! Loved it. Such great value!

The rooms are very spacious. There are plentiful restaurants to walk by and I felt safe in the area. There was hair in the shower and the sheets weren't clean. I think there should be an outdoor rug in the entrance so it's easier to bring your suitcase in.

Assez bien situé entre la gare et les monuments, on peut tout faire à pied … en marchant bien. Personnel accueillant, bon petit déjeuner. Un peu sombre et la réception au 3ème, chambres assez petites mais mignonnes

I visited Rome in August during the sweltering heat, and walked into my room to a chilled air conditioned space that made everything better. Clean room, helpful staff, kind of minimal breakfast options compared to American breakfasts, but they did provide coffee to order. Laundry service was on the expensive end so I did not end up using it, but can be helpful in a pinch for those who are desperate. Overall great experience.

I quite enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was pleasing. I found the afternoon/evening lady to be very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was quite contained, but if you don't require anything other than sleeping in the room, it works well. I very much enjoyed the breakfast which was a variety of pastries, breads, fruit spreads, seeds, yogurt, granola, scrambled eggs, and sausage (similar to north american hot dogs).

I chose this location because its between the train station and the major sites. It's about a 15 min walk to either part. The buffet breakfast that was included was very nice and provided a good variety of items and the dining area was charming. But most of all, the hotel staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. In addition, Hotel Galatea has free tours and activities planned out for each day of the week. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to participate in any of them.
