A perfect home away from home!

Our stay at Borgo 91 was fantastic! Spotlessly clean, wonderful neighborhood, great location, satisfying breakfast. And especially the host who is very friendly and willing to share his passion for all things Rome. He had recommendations for places to eat and see art. We highly recommend B&B Borgo for your stay in Rome near Vatican City.

Home Away From Home

Such a wonderful host, full of knowledge and love of his city. The apartment is lovely with an abundance of food available for breakfast and snacks. We look forward to coming back someday!

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Rome. It's very walkable to the Vatican. The owners are extremely accommodating and sweet. They are also very helpful ahead of time with planning--from transfers to various places (airport or port), to where to eat, to having a great spread for breakfast! Highly recommend!

A perfect stay in Rome

The owners of B&B Roma Borgo 91 are wonderful people, very kind, accommodating, and hospitable. We had an amazing stay, the room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was great. It is in a great location near Vatican City and Central Rome. We highly recommend Roma Borgo!

B and B excellent value, especially when you work in free breakfast, some of which can be packed and brought for a free lunch, not to mention the excellent tips and even historical background of Rome provided by host Guido. Place is just steps from the Vatican too.

Hospitality plus!

A very nice, updated apartment conveniently located 3 blocks from The Vatican. Safe area. The host, Guido, graciously allowed us to drop off our luggage early and greeted us upon arrival. Our room was nice and had a safe and a room key. The fridge was filled with juice, milk, fruit and other foods. Wonderful 3-night stay while we explored Rome.

Great one night stay between a cruise & flight home. Very convenient location to walk to Vatican with lots of dining options close by. Owner very friendly & helpful. Some shared areas (living room & kitchen) but private bedroom & bathroom. Would recommend as long as you’re ok with running into some fellow travelers in the apartment.

This B&B was a great choice. It’s in the centre of Vatican City and only a 15 minute taxi ride from the downtown train station. It was very clean and comfortable and Guido, the host is very knowledgeable about the whole area so he offered a lot of helpful information. There were plenty of breakfast options at the B&B and dozens of great restaurants within easy walking distance. My wife used one of the Hop on Hop off sightseeing tours when we stayed there and one of the stops is only a 15 minute walk from Roma Borgo. I would definitely recommend Roma Borgo!

This was the most amazing place I have ever stayed - and I don’t say that lightly. Beautiful apartment, amazing breakfasts, the most lovely owners and maid, and unmatched customer service. I recommended this property to ANYONE who is staying in Rome. You will not find this high quality of living and amazing customer service for this low a price anywhere. A gem in Rome.

Giulia was an amazing host. She answered all our questions and is super kind. We rented the entire flat which was perfect for us and our son. Highly recommend it if you’re able to. If you stay, do yourself a favor and take the metro when possible. It’s very easy to navigate and much much cheaper and easier than trying to get a taxi. Overall great place!

Excellent stay!

We are so happy with our stays. I wished I know this place earlier and stayed longer. It is in an excellent location, very close to the Vatican City. It is a very clean and cute place. Best of all is its service. The owner communicates to us to make sure things are ready for us when we arrived. He is not only showed us the place but also give us a lot tour information about Vatican City. He is so nice and informative. Breakfast is good and well prepared and set up for us in advance. We are very happy for our stay.

The owners of this b&b are amazing. He gave us a ton of information and history about may sites around Rome. He suggested a number of great restaurants very close to the b&b. It is only about a 5 min walk to St. Peter’s basilica. The neighborhood is very safe and petty quiet. There is a breakfast selection set up every morning and they provide extra food on your own personal shelf. They definitely make it feel like your home away from home. You even get your own bathrobe. It is like having your own apartment rather than a hotel. The couple staying with us was very nice and we never had any issues. It is only a 10 min walk to the metro station which is great to get around to the main sites and is easy and affordable to use. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Rome.

This was a real gem of a find. Close to the Vatican and nearby restaurants which didnt break the budget. We were welcomed by the amazing Guido, his knowledge of the attractions were next to none, he took time to show us on the map places we woud never have thought to go, where to eat organised our taxi to the airport, his advice was invaluable. He prepared the breakfast each day and we had a dedicated shelf in the fridge with an abundance of food, which we could use anytime of the day! Fresh fruit, tea and tea and coffee also readily available. Our room was large, comfortable beds, fresh towels, and we liked the towelling robe supplied. The external private bathroom was compact, powerful shower. There are 2 rooms in total whuch are let, but i was a bit nervous about that, but we we were were all so busy our paths rarely crossed. Overal i woukd highly recommend staying there and would return..
