"Price was right for my budget trip. Pool area wasn’t open a couple times I desired to hit the jacuzzi. The coffee situation was pretty crummy overall. Other than those “extra” amenities that I really don’t need or expect at the price I paid, service was good, the room was clean, the things in the room worked. For California, parking lot wasn’t terribly busy and the price to park onsite was very fair."

"The location is very convenient; a 15 - 20-minute walk from Universal Studios Hollywood. In and Out is a 1/2 mile away. Kaja was quite friendly and very helpful, and the rest of the staff were as well. There was a minor hiccup with the elevator while we were there but was resolved quickly."

"Our two night stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Norm, the bartender, helped ease us into our stay with excellent dinner recommendations. All of the staff were kind and attentive. The pool and hot tub were wonderfully relaxing and the continental breakfast was above average. We hope to return again and soon."

"When looking for hotels to book, Glendale Hotel looked promising with good ratings. I’m not sure how it rates so high. I booked a King Suite and was given an outside room. The virtual check-in process was fine, everything was fast and efficient. I wish there was more than one kiosk as I had to wait about 5 minutes for the person in front of me to get checked in. Then we got assigned to the third floor… when we opened the door, we were taken aback by what we experienced. The room had air fresheners (yes, plural) that were stifling and did not do a good enough job of hiding the musky old smell. The lights were dim. The carpet looked like a 1970s throwback, and not in a good way. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well (washing our hands always ran the risk of dunking our hands in slow draining dirty water). The bed was not very comfortable and was quite soft. One highly positive for Glendale Hotel was the on-site house keeper who was very friendly and accommodating. We ran into her randomly one night and asked for more toiletries and towels and she obliged even though it wasn’t regular housekeeping times."
