This hotel is in a great location right on the beach, and dozens of dining, shopping, and drinking options are in walking distance. The hotel restaurant was also great, good food and an amazing view. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped organize transportation and reservations for dinner and other activities. The only complaint I have is the noise. We stayed in Room 1 which is located under the restaurant. Every day starting around 6am we could hear furniture being moved, and staff going in and out of the kitchen and bar. Luckily the restaurant was not open late so it wasn't an issue in the evenings. I would highly recommend this hotel for any room besides #1!

The Beach House Hotel is located in the center of the Half Moon Bay. It has a beautiful sandy beach to wade and swim in. It is a busy area that offers many land and water activities. The hotel restaurant has an excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, though there are many places to choose from in the area. The staff makes the guests feel like family. We were there during a storm when the rest of the area lost electricity. The Beach House Hotel has its own generator, so the guests continue to have all the amenities.

The Beach House was amazing! Staff was friendly and made sure our stay was outstanding. Perfect location, right on a beautiful beach. Close to restaurants and town. Would highly recommend staying here. Best place in West End!

I had a great trip and the property itself was beautiful. Kathy, Patrick, and the rest of the staff were fantastic, friendly, and represented the staff well. Room #13 was exactly what I needed for my stay and the view was perfect. Other than the kitchen being closed if the staff isn't able to report during the rainy season that you had to go elsewhere, it is the perfect place to stay. Location was great and walkable to stores and restaurants. It's at the top of my list for stays and would go again!

Beautiful ocean front property, very clean, spacious and comfortable bed. Super friendly and accommodating staff, convenient location walking distance to restaurants and stores, safe to walk around town, the food and the hotel is great, but there are multiple options to choose from if you want to dine elsewhere. Overall great experience, and i would love to come back.

This property is on the beach on Half Moon bay. This is West End. The area around the hotel is the old part of Roatan. We always felt safe and walked to places to eat of which there were many. You could swim here and there was a nice snorkel spot a few yards away. The biggest joy of the trip was JC Snorkel trips. Just the two of us to 5 different spots in five days. Very calm warm water and very cheap. Went different times of the day. The hotel staff was always helpful and pleasant. The hotel is small and quiet. If looking for a big resort try West Bay. Good communication before the trip. We are planning on returning.

The Beach House is the perfect place for enjoying all Roatan has to offer. The rooms are beautiful and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and want for a comfortable stay. The restaurant is awesome and the view from every room is amazing.

This property is situated in a small dive area. Water taxis come straight to the pier. The area is walkable to many restaurants. The staff is helpful and pleasant. The hotel is right on the beach and super cute. Will definitely return!

Loved the property! Best sunset views, food at the restaurant was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the first day they supply you with new plush towels but once they replace them, they give you the oldest, dingiest, roughest towels. Even the robe in the closet had a hole in it.

Fantastic Stay
Loved the location in the West Bay as it was a few minutes to walk from town with many restaurants and a short water taxi ride for all the excitement in West End. It was convenient being next to Sun Divers as we dove with them every day and they were excellent. Having the SunDowner bar next door could be noisy as they had a band every night but they were good at stopping by 9:00. pm. We enjoyed the large balcony off our room and the Mila del Mar restaurant was excellent as we ate there many times. The Tuna Poke bowel was our favorite!. Staff was amazing and very helpful especially since we ended up staying 3 extra days due to no flights landing. Luckily we were able to stay at The Beach House the extra nights.

Loud city hotel with crowded beach.
I’ve got no idea how this hotel got such great reviews. The staff is really nice and helpful. The area is a public beach complete with tons of screaming kids within a few feet of rooms. 1st level has no privacy at all. It’s all right in the middle of a busy town square and large bar with loud music is ten steps away. If you’re looking for an urban experience for your tropical vacation this is a great choice. The best attraction is a great dive shop next door and some good restaurants nearby.

Right out your door is a quiet beach and the sunset each evening from your room is World Class! Staff is super easy to work with and extremely service oriented. Lovely property run by a very nice and attentive staff. I had two complaints though - 1. Right next door is a lively bar with live music. While they shut down at ten o'clock, the evening hours are pretty loud if you were looking for some quiet time. 2. Nothing in the West Bay, including the hotel opens before 7:00am. So an early riser like myself, who just wants my morning coffee, is dependent on the coffee machine in the room. The hotel provides the machine, and the first two packets of coffee only(basically one morning's worth), but you have to pay for additional coffee packets. It's not expensive - but considering every other hotel i've ever stayed at, from cheap motels to top tier places - and certainly places that rival The Beach House in cost/services - always provide the coffee and replenish it daily. It just shocks me that these folks would rather potentially annoy a customer (like me) over the lousy $2 they sell a coffee pack for.

The Beach House is in a wonderful location if you like to be very close to the beach and swimming. Our room was nicely decorated. The bed was comfy. There was a bar fridge. The staff were AMAZING!!!!! The food in the restaurant was excellent. It was close to many other restaurants within walking distance.

Great hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Great location close to everything. Room safe was not bolted down to desk; which was concerning as it could easily be picked up. This could be due to recent renovations though and was the only concern during our stay.

The property is in an amazing cove with wonderful restaurants around. However what makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. Its a small hotel and by the end of the week we knew the staff and they knew us. Weeks before we arrived we got messages from the staff asking what they could do to make our stay better and when we arrived we had a car waiting. The restaurant and bar staff took amazing care of us. There are a lot of hotels but there is only one Beach House staff. We will be going there again...and a lot.
